RED is a multi-award-winning yacht design studio founded in Istanbul by architect Cana Gökhan and naval architect Fatih Sürekli. Today, the studio is based in London and Istanbul.
Its founders come from different backgrounds and have brought together a multidisciplinary team, each member specialised in their own field. RED undertakes projects at varying scales with prominent shipyards, raising the bar with every new project through ethical values, a pursuit of excellence and unique shared experiences.
Founders
Cana Gökhan graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Architecture, in 2003. After 14 years as an interior design chief in leading companies, she founded RED Yacht Design together with Fatih Sürekli. Her projects have received awards in several categories at the Cannes Yachting Festival. She leads design as managing partner at RED.
Fatih Sürekli graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Naval Architecture, in 2006 and completed his master’s degree there in 2010. He worked as a naval architect in leading yacht companies for 11 years before co-founding RED. He leads naval architecture as managing partner.
Together with the dynamic team they have established, Cana and Fatih continue their work across yacht design, architecture and product design, while contributing voluntarily to industry publications and marine culture.
RED chooses to grow by sharing its moral and material gains with its team, clients and business partners, using those gains to create a positive impact and transformation over the long term.
The studio raises the design bar by bringing originality, aesthetics and functionality together in every project—creating a unique experience for yacht owners seeking the best.
